2) What is blood alcohol content? How do I know what
mine is?
Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) or Blood Alcohol Level (BAL)
is the percentage of alcohol in your blood. The chart below
is used to determine what your BAC is, depending on your
weight and how many drinks you have.
BAC is used by cops to determine your level of intoxication
when being considered for a Driving Under the Influence
(DUI), Drunk in Public, or, occasionally, Minor in Possession
(MiP) infractions. Keep in mind that acceptable BAC levels
for people under 21 are much, MUCH lower than for 21+ drivers.
Many states operate a “no tolerance” policy
for underage drunk drivers, which means you get an under
age DUI if you’ve had even one beer.
